Reporting to the supervisor on the operation site, the day laborer is part of the operation department and collaborates with the other departments of the mine. You will need to ensure that goals and timelines are met, while promoting and upholding the culture, customer health and safety code of conduct, and the environment.
Main responsibilities
- Unload and unpack the goods and the equipment’s;
- Ensure that the goods received are transported and classified in the right place;
- See the product inventory (if necessary);
- Provide support to other departments;
- Always ensure the maintenance of the premises and the safety of the work environment;
- Ensure that the work performed meets quality standards;
- Report all accidents to your immediate supervisor as well as to your Audet & Knight project manager;
- Any other related task.
Job REQUIREMENTS
- Have a strong ability to communicate in English (oral and written);
- Have 6 months of experience in a field related to the mining operation;
- Have a valid driver’s license;
- Be able to operate light equipment;
- Have a strong ability to communicate in English (oral and written);
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and autonomy;
- Have and demonstrate adequate physical condition and meet the requirements of the position.
